Where did we originate?
It is one of the most fundamental questions that men ask responding to God.
For God’s regard, the light and the dark coexist with men.
The world, created in absolute order, is where aesthetics is from.
The universe is still too mysterious for men to understand.
Men have always tried to solve the secrets of the universe, the very spiritual space where every presence communicates to each other.
The mysteries of the universe cannot be answered by scientific logic, maybe they can be better explained by a poetic or artistic approach.
Artists possibly have different mental structure from common people.
They pursue genuine beauty of all time, dreaming of the ideal world.
Sometimes they are in advance of the times, and not appreciated by contemporary people, which gives them lots of pains and frustration.
What makes them continue despite insensible people or harsh poverty?
Leonardo da Vinci was abandoned by his mother country and so was Jesus by his people, and Dante died far away from home as an exile.
However, their great philosophies seeking the root of the matter are still alive in the world of men beyond time and space.
Giorgio Moiso, impronte nella storia

"Non mi sembra che Giorgio Moiso si possa riconoscere soprattutto nelle sue inedite e particolarissime azioni performative, che portano comunque il segno tangibile della ricerca di vari linguaggi del passato.
Caractèr, il termine greco per definire impronte, oppure anche storia, significa seguire le tracce per poter scrivere le storie e gli eventi successivi.
Moiso si concentra sulle impronte di carattere immergendosi fino in fondo, divenendo un tutt’uno con la materia che calpesta, lasciando volutamente le sue impronte con tutto il suo peso di corpo fatto di carne, e ribadendo nella performance l’assoluta identità tra tutte le forme viventi, quelle già narrate con un racconto di linee e colori, e quelle ancora in gestazione, conservate nel liquido amniotico dell’intuizione.
La forma, sembra stando ad utilizzare questa parola per un artista apparentemente lontano da quello che è il significato classico ed abusato della parola, è per moiso una sfida costante.
A me sembra, vedendo le sue grandi tele, di recepire una sua ricerca mai sazia di ogni lessico che possa condurre ad espressioni formali libere di comporre insieme ad altre una disarticolata sinfonia ..."

"... Le opere di Giorgio Moiso, ci fanno pensare allo spazio, i titoli sono: comete, pianeti, cosmografia … lo spazio nei suoi
dipinti non rappresenta lo spazio in se stesso ma l’ordine e l’armonia cosmica che da sempre affascina l’uomo.
Come batterista jazz e ottimo performer l’intensità del gesto si riflette nei suoi vibranti colori. A prima vista nei suoi quadri quello che appare è il caos che agita i suoi dipinti, colori che sembrano troppo forti che si uniscono e poi si distaccano gli uni dagli altri, ma in realtà costruiscono una armonia, completandosi gli uni con gli altri, come il verde che sembra incontrasto con il rosso ma in realtà lo complementa, ed il gesto intenso che batte il ritmo sulla tela come la batteria nel jazz, secondo le regole del mondo di Moiso. Infatti, la sua vena di musicista jazz ha un impatto visibile nella sua arte.
Il jazz, è di solito considerato come un genere che non ha regole, ma, in realtà è un genere che ha bisogno di regole molte precise.
Dal jazz standard, la bossanova o il tango relativamente facili da apprezzare, al Be-bob, free jazz, etc., il jazz si può considerare un genere molto complesso: ma l’improvvisazione diventa impossibile senza seguire i fondamentali della musica. Si può perciò sostenere che anche il jazz è le sue improvvisazioni sono sostenute da delle regole..."

Sea is mysterious.
It takes us into a state of spiritual calm, and we forget about skyscrapers, busy people of today, and tiring everyday life as watching it.
People adore sea as it is calm or it rolls with the wind, because people incline to its infinity.
The paintings of Giorgio Moiso make me think of sea that might exist in outer space beyond our knowledge.
His paintings are like omnipotent space, where all living creatures are equal and coexist with each other in harmony.
They are results of deep philosophical speculation about human existence.
Even a mere wild flower has its mystery of being.
It does not need help of advanced technology to understand these mysteries. Just you need to be a philosopher for a while.
Isn’t it fearful that the creativity of men resembles that of God?
